moving on

she sits in the corner staring and contemplating
never letting go, feeling the time slip away
and not caring one bit.
the heartbreaks of her past overcoming her mind.
one by one, repeating.
then suddenly its over.
the pain remains,
just not as before.
her eye lids meet.

Your Gaze

i feel your gaze against my skin
it makes it crawl
it makes me ill.
your heart i had,
of that i’m sure.
someone else it belongs, now
yet you torture me,
my gaze, I deny you
for my heart you did break
my gaze you won’t feel
for the rest of the days.
